friends

maybe at first we don't know each other.

we're just strangers with the silly stuff in common.

but eventually we find each other

and we clash and combine and compliment each other.

we fight and we struggle

and we understand.

and one day we may forget.

but today, tonight, we still know each other.

so we dance around the room and laugh and fall asleep on the couch together.

we ignore how quickly time passes and revel in our youth.

maybe at first we don't know each other.

but across space and time and against all odds

 

we found each other.

and that's got to count for something..

right?
